Our popular 1 day safari to TSAVO EAST is ideal as an introduction to Safari in Kenya, or for people on a short stop over in Mombasa.

TSAVO EAST is one of Kenya's oldest and largest of the National Parks. The combined area of Tsavo East and Tsavo West National Parks makes Tsavo one of the world's largest game sanctuaries. Lying about halfway between Nairobi and Mombasa it covers 20,812 square kilometers. Tsavo East is larger and more arid than Tsavo West and is less frequented than many of the other parks, it is accredited as one of the world's leading biodiversity strongholds.
The Park is ideal safari territory, with grasslands and plains as well as scrub and woodlands it is home to a variety of animals, lions, leopard, cheetah, zebras, giraffes, serval, antelopes, kongoni, lesser kudu, oryx, klipspringer, impala, stripped hyena, ostriches, gazelles, buffalo, elephants and many more.

We start with an early morning pick up from your resort, where you meet your guide for the day and board your Safari Bus. Traveling along the Mombasa Nairobi Highway you will see Kenya as it really is as well as many domestic and wild animals, we travel along the highway to TSAVO EAST National Park where the morning is spent on a game drive amongst the herds of elephant and plains game, always on the lookout for the lion and cheetah.

For lunch we stop at a safari lodge for an excellent buffet lunch and some relaxation before the drive back to your resort in the early evening.
