The small village of Kikambala is located on the Coast Province of Kenya,
alongside the Indian Ocean. North of Mombasa sitting astride the Malindi road
the village is home to a small fishing community. There are a number of
small hotels and resorts with palm trees and white sandy beaches. Kikambala
is an idyllic Indian Ocean paradise amid tropical forest, it's
resorts and hotels are the perfect venue for Water sports,
lounging on the beach, leisurely dinners and generally relaxing.
A reef projects out into the ocean providing refuge for a wide variety of
brightly colored fish, crabs and other marine wildlife. Beyond the
reef the Sea-bed drops away sharply and is perfect for snorkeling
and diving.
Other important towns on the coastal strip include Diani in
the South, and Malindi, Watamu and Lamu in the North.
